One of the things I'm looking at is forced induction & I found this kit (below). My problem would be Not having an air box to feed the twin carbs. I would need to fabricate one,& it is very limited for space. One option would be to radically shorten an inlet manifold more than the "cut and welded" page previouse. Also 90 degree ram pipes could be an option too.

To the left is a Sunbeam TI airbox,Quite rare I'v missed 3 on ebay so far! Right is a H120 airbox - fibreglass & correct for engine. but too deep as is.

This is the airbox with the blower unit in place

Here as I'm holding the units in place you can see there is NO room! I'm going to have to do a bit of rearranging to get it all in.

Maybe I need to go down 10mm or so on length of ram pipes, lose the gauze filters then start to measure up with the backplate in position to give me a datum to work from.

I don't want to remove the chromed tie bar ,but I think I will have to reprosition it higher up the inner wing strengthener.

So having removed the bolts holding the fiberglass box on I blasted the backplate

Next I fabricated a3" box, which I'm going to have to chop a bit!

All welded up & polished! Haven't fit the fan unit yet but put a free flow filter on in the meantime.

Now I fabricated a'lid' for the housing, relieved to miss the inner wing strengthener  also rolled a boss to fit an inlet. Just tacked at the moment, but looks ok.
